salon look like somewhere you would want to spend time having a
treatment? Can you see the receptionist and does she look pleasant
and smiley?

Cleanliness and Hygiene - How clean and tidy is the salon and how smart
and clean looking are the staff? Is their uniform immaculate and is
their make-up well applied? Is their hair neat or tied back?

the more religious ladies - Is the salon women only? Or if not, do they
have specific times for ladies only? Or can they guarantee that there
will be no men in the salon when you are being treated?
4. Friendly staff and a pleasant environment - Do staff seem polite, friendly and professional?
5. Knowledge - Do staff appear knowledgeable and experienced in the treatments you are interested in?

Personal Service - Have the staff addressed your particular concerns and
do you feel satisfied that they understand your needs and have
recommended the right treatment for you.

selection of treatments on offer? Choose a salon that does a large
variety of treatments. That means they are more likely to suggest the
right treatment for you rather than only from the limited selection they
provide. For example, if a salon only provides one brand of facials the
salon is going to suggest 2 or 3 facials that that particular brand
offers. If the salon provides 2 or 3 different brands of facials they
will be recommending from maybe 6 or more different facials within the 3
brands, and are therefore much more likely to suggest a facial that is
going to address your exact skin concerns.
